Eternity belongs another beauty -
in still frame
on a cloud lulling
she builds castles out of air in the deep, dismal night.
Detached she becomes;
a bitter pill can be hard to swallow
grabbing a cigarette
he lays on the couch, consigned to oblivion.
Forlorn thoughts flood his mind.
Without warning
his heart abruptly confesses
to sincerity;
a flash of clairvoyance and he explodes
identifying the surface
of what truly matters.
He imagines her
displaying a grace so beautifully abundant
in his narrow light of bliss,
he begins to cry
conceiving her words,
raining clarity.
The goddess, miracle
illuminated muse.
A value deferred, invisible hue
Returning to her tower
where she resides
underneath royal purple dreams,
declaring his wrongs,
a scatter of laughter
& they grasp the truth
succeeding their eyes.
The Venus influence
has brought the sun
into his somber eyes.
Rain, now absent,
in this radiant realm.

his heart abruptly confesses
to sincerity;
I'm drawn to this stanza. It warms me inside - floods memories of my 'breathless' poem and the night I wrote it.
I need to digest a little more - it almost seems like two writings - the first ending at "raining clarity".
thank you
for the favorite and the positive feedback!
its good to hear from you.

was actaully the first thing i came up with for this poem.
and the rest was kinda built around them words.
thats possibly why it feels like two poems in one. i definitely wanted to make this one decently long too because of the truth behind the poem, this occured when i was out in Pennsylvania with my love
